2011 Pi Tau Sigma-ASME AwardsThe following individuals have been selected to receive the 2011 Pi Tau Sigma Awards: Pi Tau Sigma Gold Medal - Professor David Saintillan of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, for outstanding achievements in mechanical engineering within 10 years of graduation. Gustus L. Larson Memorial Award - Professor Arvind Raman of Purdue University, for outstanding achievements in mechanical engineering within ten to twenty years following graduation. Charles Russ Richards Memorial Award - Professor Huajian Gao of Brown University, for outstanding achievements in mechanical engineering for 20 years or more following graduation. Formal presentation of the award is scheduled to take place at the Members and Students Luncheon, Monday, November 13, 2011 during the ASME Mechanical Engineering Congress & Exposition, November 11-17, 2011 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. |
